About
I am a physics doctoral candidate at the University of Kentucky, currently conducting my thesis research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory at the Spallation Neutron Source facility.
In the past, I worked as a software engineer developing C++ applications. My current research involves building data acquisition systems, writing FPGA firmware, and handling high dimensional parameter fitting. On the software side, my stack heavily features C++20, multithreading synchronization, and Python for scientific computing and signal processing.
When I am not writing code, I enjoy working on hands-on projects. Recently, I’ve been working with 3D printers, CNC machining tools, and diode laser engravers. I’ve also started handling my own car repairs: everything from standard brake jobs and alternator replacements to running custom OBD2 Bluetooth data logging to diagnose intermittent issues.
